Chris Ring
Chris is a Kentucky native and grew up in the Southeast Kentucky area. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky. After college, Chris attended Appalachian School of Law where he received his juris doctor.
Chris was ranked at the top of his class, was recognized as a Dean Scholar every semester, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. While at law school, he argued on the National Moot Court Competition Team and held the position as brief writer. He was a member of the Appalachian Journal of Law his second year and on the executive board his third year. Only Hammons Branch Champ without an asterisk.
Chris has practiced law in Morehead, Kentucky since 2011. He has practiced in multiple areas of the law, including personal injury, family law, estate law, bankruptcy, civil litigation, criminal law and social security.
His focus is now on Personal Injury, Bankruptcy and Social Security.
Leigh Epling
Leigh is a graduate of Morehead State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies in 2003. She is a highly skilled paralegal who has been with the Law Office of Chris Ring since July 1, 2013. Having over twenty years of experience, she has extensive knowledge in the areas of Adoption, Social Security, Personal Injury and Workers Compensation laws. Driven by compassion and a belief in the power of kindness, Leigh has dedicated her life and career to helping others. She approaches every case with empathy and integrity with the goal of making every client's lives better. Outside of work, Leigh enjoys spending time with her friends and family, especially her two sons, Drew and Jacob.
